As an extension of your regular veterinarian, we’re here for you and your pet when speciality medical care is needed. We are proud to provide pet-owners and veterinarians in Sydney with advanced medical services and specialty procedures that usually aren’t available in family practice.

Payment & Financing

At Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists, we have multiple options for payment and financing. We’ll help you navigate these options so you can focus on getting your pet the medical care they require.

We offer a variety of payment options to help you access the care your pet needs. In addition to traditional payment methods like cash or card, we also accept payment plans that help you spread the cost of treatment into affordable monthly payments. At our hospital, we are proud to offer Zip, Afterpay, or VetPay – each subject to approval by provider.

Please note we will require full payment at the time of the appointment. We also accept GapOnly, if your insurance is with an eligible provider, we will be happy to help process the claim. Once processed you will only pay the gap between the vet invoice and your insurance benefit – the “gap”.

At Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists, you can take advantage of buy-now-pay-later plans with ZipMoney, AfterPay and VetPay to cover the cost of your pet’s treatment.

Credit limits and repayment options vary between payment plans, so please read the fine print, and find an option that best suits your needs.

To use a payment plan against your vet bill, you’ll need to be approved. Head to their app or website to complete a simple application form, which in most cases gives you results in minutes.

Before all treatment, we provide good-faith estimates of the service costs. However, sometimes treatment plans can change depending on your pet’s condition. You will be updated daily by our Billing Administrators while your pet is in hospital.

We always review the written estimate with you before you leave your pet with us.

Yes! We can submit GapOnly claims on your behalf if your pet is covered by an eligible insurer. We’ll be happy to help fill out pet insurance forms for your pet’s visit for all other insurance companies.
