As passionate animal lover – Kate has a particular interest in small animal behaviour, she frequently under takes short courses with the DELTA society and is one of the clinics cat friendly advocates. She can be seen around the hospital providing personalised bedrooms, with enrichment aids; always aiming to make our patients feel as relaxed and safe as possible during their stay with us.
When not at work Kate is with her small menagerie of cats, Sprinkle, Gretel and Geri, as well as a beautiful golden retriever Emily. Her small family dedicate their time to fostering neonatal kittens and puppies, helping these tiny orphans to grow physically and mentally before they find their forever homes.
In her spare time (which is usually quite limited) Kate loves to travel – with a strict rule of visiting a new country every year!
