Project Description

Dr Randa Amin

Emergency Veterinarian

Randa spent her childhood in Maryland and received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2011. She then moved south to the sunshine state and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2015.

She’s always had a passion for animals as they cannot speak for themselves when they are ill. Randa has 2 foster failure cats back home: a tuxedo tripod named Midna and a flame-point Siamese named Yuki. Since graduating, she has worked in shelter medicine, general practice, and emergency. Her clinical interests include: surgery, ultrasound and emergency. Her love of travel and reuniting with her aunt brought her to Sydney.

She loves to learn, advance her medical knowledge and skills in all aspects of veterinary medicine and especially enjoys attending extensive conferences worldwide. When she is not working hard on a furry family member, she enjoys international travel, Zumba, hiking and cycling adventures exploring all the breathtaking nature that New South Wales has to offer.
