Lou is a new smiling face in the clinic who has a clear love of animals and their owners! Lou studied Biology and Earth Sciences in Italy before coming to Australia with her husband to complete her veterinary nursing study. While studying, Lou completed some time in a general practice clinic before realising that critical care and surgery was her passion. Lou is completing further study in Emergency and Critical Care to help our patients at Eastside Vets.

Outside of work, Lou spends her spare time caring for possums with WIRES while catching up on reading. Lou has a keen interest in Australian Wildlife and enjoys seeing and treating all of the wildlife that come into the clinic.

Lou is also a keen runner and participates in marathons and other sports. She enjoys travelling and has a mixed background of French and Italian – she speaks Italian fluently at home with her husband!
